Many will remember Maria Canyigueral from her spectacular Avant-Guarding Mompou recital at Conway Hall in 2018. She returns with Slovenian violinist Lana Trotovšek to begin our Beethoven anniversary celebrations with three of his violin sonatas, culminating in the ‘Kreutzer’ Sonata, dedicated to Rodolphe Kreutzer, the finest violinist of the day, who disliked the piece and refused to play it!
